So this is it, the first official step to the rest of my life!
I must say this is just as daunting as saying ‘I do’ or giving birth, I am at the start of what I hope will be a successful career and it is all in my hands no one else’s there is no mother-in-law I can phone to ask for advice on her son and there are no grandparents that I can drop my kids off at, no this baby is all mine and boy have I been waiting for this moment MY moment to begin!
I am born and raised in South Africa, I am a Daughter, Sister to 5 siblings, Wife and Mother of 2, I studied Events Management and Project Management and it has lead me (on a very long journey) to Graphic Design. My first love is Nature and wildlife but life had other plans for me more exciting plans!
My life, now I say my life as in my dreams, ambitions and career has been on hold ever since I became a mother, my daughter came into the world and my life had to adapt to what was most important and then everything went on a bit of a wild roller coaster ride that I still seem to be on but the ride seems a bit more relaxed now and I can relight my flame and add this part into my already crazy life.
Roller coaster time line: (so I can stop babbling)
- 2011 – Graduated from Metric
- 2012 – Worked at a School adventure camp on a game reserve as a facilitator
- 2013 – Met my now husband and started studying Events management
- 2014 – Started studying Project Management and my family bought a farm and I worked there
- 2015 – Had my little Kendel (named after a race car team by my husband)
- 2016 – Got Married
- 2017 – Packed up our life in South Africa and moved to the United Kingdom
- 2018 – Had my gorgeous son Theodor
- 2019 – Started Studying Graphic Design
